Salute...

June 9, 2007

Today’s word is ‘font’. I feel like I should be writing and when I opened the page, ‘font’ became an important issue, this is not a Times New Roman message. I don’t know what kind of message it will become but am open to receiving the lessons from the Universe as they appear.

Last day: Today is Bob’s last day before he leaves for Georgia to go to Ft. Benning. I saw that Choya had posted the video interview from the Dallas television station clip and article on his MySpace page. It is a staggering realization to be associated even peripherally to such a choice as his, almost profound. To see the man that I have seen and known, for three weeks only, in several different contexts evolve in almost chameleonlike fashion from a Mozart’s Don Giovanni to LTC RTB. My eyes glisten with tears of humility and pride to have met such a man and I look forward to our continued correspondence when possible as he deploys for Afghanistan in the weeks ahead. Godspeed LTC, B&A, Sgt. Pilgrim.
